Visitor Visa within Canada
How to apply for a new temporary resident visa from inside Canada if you are a student or worker.
Workers and Students
If you are currently in Canada with a valid study or work permit, you may need a visitor visa (temporary resident visa) to leave and return to Canada. A study or work permit is not a visa and does not allow you to re-enter Canada.
